MonsterQuest

Reception

Most critical reviews of MonsterQuest pertain to the season one DVD set which was released as a 4 DVD boxed collection on May 27, 2008.

Rich Rosell of Digitally Obsessed gave it a “B-,” stating, “The good news is that this isn’t a trashy reality show, eager to make everything overblown and sinister. Instead, it takes a seemingly well-researched approach, leaving viewers the opportunity to make up their own minds.” He also believed that the “content is certainly nerd-worthy in an I-want-to-believe/Mulder kind of way”.

Cinematic Happenings Under Development (CHUD) gave the show a 5.9/10 review, saying that the show is “basically a rehashing of the 1970s/1980s TV show, In Search Of…” and “it leaves you with a sense of either ‘been there, done that’ or just a feeling of incompleteness because it basically raises as many questions as it tries to answer.”

Diablo Cody gave the show high praise in the October 24, 2008 issue of the magazine

Back in the Playoff Hunt!

Rangers dominate in Boston!

After a night of rest Henrik Lundqvist responds with a stellar performance in goal stopping 29 of 30 Boston shots as the Rangers added two more points in the standings. Now holding down sole possession of 6th place in the Eastern Conference with 50 points, they are only a point behind the Bruins who now have lost two straight.

Michael Del Zotto would put the Rangers on the board first in the first period of play with a beautiful back hand driving to the net after making a move around S. Chara. Dubinsky and Girardi were the set up men on the play.

Period one was when Lundqvist would be tested and he was there for all eleven of the Bruins shots, sharp and in position the man was on his game. Especially when asked to stop a penalty shot when Marco Sturm was tripped up on a breakaway on a short handed attempt. Even though it looked like Marco took a dive on the replay, from the refs view he saw a take down. No

Help Wanted Goal Scoring Needed!

The Great start to the New Year has been struck with a drought in goal scoring.

After a beautiful goaltending battle between Henrik Lundqvist and Martin Brodeur in a 0-0 regulation and OT, the Rangers thought they would be able to ride the back of Henrik Lundqvist and get points out of every game like this.

The next game against Ottawa Senators would prove the same for the Rangers in the goal scoring department. But this time it was to a struggling team and a back up goalie. Not the first place Eastern Conference New Jersey Devils. Maybe it had something to do with Ottawa’s goalies last name as it was also Broduer, but this was Mike and not Martin. The game in a whole was a let down compared to the way they played against the Devils.

Now we are at six straight periods without a goal for, ouch! Not a good recipe for winning hockey games.

Saturday nights game against the St. Louis Blues after a period of play would make for

Ed Hardy :Ozzy Osbourne

While I don’t know if I think that statement, one thing is for sure; heavy metal will seldom die.The Ozzfest tour skipped 2008 and 2009 entirely, so that Ozzy Osbourne could work on his new album set for release in 2009 but it was delayed till June 2010, when it finally made it to the top 10 in four countries, including #4 in USA. Back in 1996 Ozzfest when was created, I don’t think Sharon or Ozzy Osbourne had any idea what it would amount to. I mean, the whole reason for Ozzfest to start with was because Lollapalooza organizers wouldn’t let them play (Lollapalooza by the way is in a little bit of trouble), back then however, there was no stage according to Rob Halford, it was heavy metal on the dirt. While the huge majority of people at the venue were guys in 1990′s faded band Ed hardy T-shirt, there were a lot of other people there also. Ozzy Osbourne together with his recent hit album, and performing alongside the legendary Motley Crue : now that’s sounds like s
